Women’s Day Out

On July 21, group from UMCL went on an outing to visit the Barn Museum in Mapleton. They viewed religious artifacts from around the world and then enjoyed lunch and fellowship together.

Walk to Emmaus Information & Application Request

Thank you for your interest in Walk to Emmaus. IowaWalktoEmmaus.org Walk to Emmaus: Oct. 3-6 Men’s Walk, Oct. 10-13 Men’s & Women’s Walk, Oct. 17-20 Women’s Walk, Oct. 24-28 Men’s Walk, Oct. 31- Nov 3 Women’s Walk. If you are interested in attending or helping out at a walk, please contact the UMCL Church Office. Application forms are on UMCL church website and the Walk to Emmaus Website. Usually, the cut-off is 2-3 weeks ahead of the weekend. A sponsor is needed for each person attending. UMCL does have some funds to help with costs. Chrysalis for teens and young adult is Mar 27-29 at the Clarion First UMC/Church of Christ.
